The farm Il Cerro is situated on the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano to mt 400 on the sea level, to approximately 29 Km from Bologna, surrounded by forests and fields that create a charming landscape in every season and it's an ideal accommodation in order to pass calm stays in full freedom and to contact with the nature. Numerous they are the attractions of cultural and historical character in the vicinities. As an example the Etruscan city of Misa, the historical park Monte Sole, the house of Guglielmo Marconi with the relative mausoleum, the Borough of Rossi Palace and the Rocchetta Mattei.
Agritourisme Il Cerro is only 13 km away from A1 highway exit of Sasso Marconi and it is therefore perfect in order to catch up goals of great tourism call-back and historical and cultural relevance.
The main activity in the farm is constituted from fruitful cultures (cherries, apricots, plums, browns). Beyond to the sale of the fresh product, collected for the guests pleasure, the raw materials are worked in order to produce jam and syruped yields.
During the stay there is a great choice of distances in order to carry out walks, where various types of small wild diurnal animals can be observed, but also when is getting dark is not rare to see wild boars, roebucks and foxes.
The farm does not have restaurant, but in the outskirtses good restaurants do not lack in order to taste the typical local kitchen.
