Among splendid Renaissance costumes, drum rolls and amazing acrobatics by flagmen, in the historic centre of Sansepolcro an exciting crossbow competition is held between the crossbowmen of Sansepolcro and Gubbio (PG). At sunset, the historic procession makes its way through the streets of the town. On the Saturday before the competition, a spectacular night-time display of the flagmen of Sansepolcro; the team has been crowned world champion of this speciality numerous times.
