At the Corte Restara del Marchese Guerrieri Gonzaga agricultural estate in Sustinente (Mantua), set along the Po river, production and nature have always been give great attention and respect. In the past, racehorses were raised, then dairy cows.
Next to the main house is the recently renovated 18th-century construction that has given rise to the Cà Guerriera agritourist structure: 11 prestigious rooms and a 7 x 15 m swimming pool.
In the former stables there is an 80-seat restaurant with a wine and farm-product tasting area. Local and regional specialities are carefully prepared and the estate’s winery (which produces about 30,000 bottles annually) provides the wines.
Guests have the chance to relax as well as enjoy the various attractions offered by the central Po valley: 11 historic towns or cities within a 100 km radius; nature reserves, cycling itineraries and truffle hunting; eno-gastronomic itineraries, cooking courses, agriculture-related activities, and more.
Possibility to purchase farm products (wine, jams, mostarde, etc.).
ROOMS Eleven comfortable rooms (1 single, 8 doubles, 2 triples) are available. All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite tv, Internet access. One room is available for disabled guests.
