The Borgo of Tignano confines with the territory of high Val of Cecina and is in a panoramic context of considerable quality. In the area, in fact, are present three natural reserves individualized also like "SIC" (Public sites of interest) : Montenero, Monterufoli- Caselli and Berignone. The forest of Tatti with its special vegetation is short-term distance from the Borgo. The forest of Berignone, in the local tradition, has had inspired Dante for it "dark forest" in which begins the imaginary travel of the Divine Comedy.
Golf fields are situated at only 30 minutes from the Borgo and the seaside is at 45 minutes distances. In the Borgo, besides residence of the proprietor that manages it, there were extracted 12 apartments; a room for meetings for 70 persons; a restaurant for the guests; a shop of typical products ; a room-library provided with internet-point; a laundry; a large pool of meters 8 x 16.
In the Borgo they are present two typical elements that accompanied the life of the large community of peasants: a valuable country chaple and a large firewood oven perfectly working.
The reorganization of the buildings and of the outside respected the original shapes and where were necessary to operate some changes, these held account of the building features and of the traditional Tuscan material
